Tracy Li    Psychologist   BPsych, PGDipPsych
Tracy has more than 5 years experience working within a variety of settings including employment services, community, and recruitment. In these roles, she has worked with a diverse group of clients, including those looking for work, those with long-standing issues, and/or suffering through crises. In addition, Tracy has assisted clients with a range of presentations that include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, sleep disturbances, among others. Her repertoire of tools includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based therapies, which she incorporates into a treatment plan that is tailored for each client. Her clients are assisted by her throughout the implementation of the treatment, helping them to effectively deal with the challenges they are facing. Tracy’s special interests include anxiety management, careers counselling and group work. Tracy’s undergraduate studies were completed at VUT and her postgraduate studies at ACU, and she is eligible to be an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Kerry Athanasiadis   Psychologist    BSocSc(Psych) PGradDip(Psych) MPsych(Counselling)
Kerry obtained her Bachelor of Social Science and Postgraduate Diploma from Swinburne University and her Master of Psychology from Monash University. She has extensive experience working in school and university settings, the not-for-profit sector and private practice settings. Kerry has worked with a variety of different client populations, including children, youth and adults. She works with clients experiencing a range of different life problems including stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, perfectionism and procrastination, motivational problems, bullying, anger management, relationship or family problems, work issues, life adjustment and developmental issues, parenting difficulties, crisis, grief and loss. Kerry delivers evidence-based therapies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative and Psychodynamic frameworks. Kerry works with clients to tailor a therapy plan to suit their individual needs. She works from a practical, strengths-based and problem solving approach to empower clients to make meaningful and long lasting changes in their lives. Her approach is both respectful and collaborative, taking into account each person’s unique circumstances. Kerry is fluent in both English and Greek and is eligible for full membership of the Australian Psychological Society.

 

Nicola Williams   Psychologist    BA Psych, Grad. Dip Ed. Psych, MPsych

Nicola has gained extensive experience helping a broad range of clients during the more than 15 years she has been working as a counsellor. Her clientele have included children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, and she has provided support for issues ranging from depression, anxiety, relationship isssues as well as supporting people with body image problems and eating issues. Nicola trained as a Psychologist, completing a Masters in Counselling Psychology in Melbourne in 2001. Since qualifying she has worked in private and public sectors. She has been based in clinical research, community, and school and university settings (counselling undergraduate and post-graduate students on two continents, at both Monash University and Oxford University). Nicola offers an integrated approach to the issues you bring to counselling. This involves working with a combined cognitive, behavioural and emotional focus on difficulties. Therapy will look at how ones’ thinking and behaviour impacts on functioning and interpersonal relationships, with a specific focus on emotional experience and building tolerance to difficult emotions as therapy progresses. She has a special interest in mindfulness practice and acceptance strategies. She is eligible to be a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Robyn Spark   Clinical Psychologist   BAppSc(Hons), MPsych, MAPS
Robyn has over 12 years experience as a psychologist in both the private and public sectors, performing clinical assessments and providing individual counselling and treatment across a broad range of psychological issues and patient populations. With endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist and Membership of the College of Clinical Psychologists, Robyn is able to address the needs of patients using a range of psychological strategies. Robyn has a particular interest and focus on the treatment of anxiety disorders, pain management, and workplace rehabilitation, and is an Approved Supervisor for the Psychology Board of Australia.

Gladys Johannessen   Psychologist    B.Psych(Hons), M.Clin.Psych, MAPS
Gladys obtained her bachelor of psychology from the University of Wollongong and Masters of Clinical Psychology from The Australian National University.  She has provided therapy for a diverse range of clients in public and private sectors, working with children, adolescents and adults, including those with intellectual and physical disabilities such as Autism. Utilising a variety of techniques, including CBT, IPT, solution-focused therapy, DBT and Mindfulness, Gladys has assisted clients with a range of presentations and disorders such as depression, anxiety, substance dependence, PTSD and OCD, as well as clients with relationship conflicts and those with grief and bereavement issues in both the ACT and Victoria. Gladys is fluent in both English and Cantonese.
